I sought out Dr. Amini Robinson’s assistance because of emotional stress and physical trauma I suffered from (in sum) maltreatment from medical doctors. By the time I eventually decided to receive counseling, I had lost over 30 pounds, wasn’t sleeping, was afraid to eat, and was struggling with my everyday interactions with work and friends.
Fortunately, I met and instantly connected with Dr. Amini Robinson’s style. She was direct, clear, and didn’t ask me about my parents or childhood. Instead, she listened to my concerns, and gave me concrete advice and obtainable goals to strive for on a weekly basis. In addition, I also tried hypnotherapy, which I found to be relaxing, useful, and insightful. This was nothing like hypnosis you see at a county fair or on TV.
